Alex is getting married!

My friend Alex is getting married in October. I brought my camera along with me to her bridal shower and was able to take a few shots.

I've known Alex aka Alexe aka Alexandra aka Ali for years. You could say we grew up together and both of us have been through several relationships, we've had different friends, and we've participated in various hobbies and interests over the years. Sure, she's always been fun and bubbly - that's just what she's all about. But in all the time I've known her I don't know that I've ever seen her more genuinely happy... even content. I can't help but think that Jeremy is a big part of that. I couldn't be happier for the both of you.

Shirley's cousin, Janine, celebrated her 18th birthday last weekend with a traditional Filipino Debut (or Debutante's Ball). I was honored to be able to help capture the event. What a sweetheart... and quite the party!

After a team meeting in San Francisco we were all treated to a Giants game. The score turned out to be pretty sad, but the beer and the company were great!

My cousin Jon and his stunning wife, Alece. These are two of the most beautiful people I've ever known, inside and out. Thanks so much you two for letting me share this time with you by taking some photos of the beginning of your new family. The toughest part... picking out my favorites. They looked fantastic in all of them!

Amy in action

The other day we visited Amy while she was working at the farmers market. That lady can sell an Armenian cucumber like nobody's business!

This is an example of one of those everyday events that most people probably wouldn't blog about, but the veggies (and Amy) were so colorful and pretty that I couldn't resist.

Culture & Cocktails

Amy has been taking event photos for the San Diego Museum of Art for a while now. On Thursday night she asked me to come along and shoot with her. What a fun gig... and quite the party. I highly recommend it.


Georgia O'Keeffe and Eleanor Antin are currently being featured. These exhibitions are so amazing that I was tempted to just put down the camera and enjoy the art. I'm definitely going to have to visit again before they're gone. Here are some shots of people enjoying the Antin rooms.
