Lyndell & Bill: elegance, sophistication, and a darn good party

Lyndell and Bill dated briefly when they attended the University of San Diego, then went their separate ways.  Years later, they reunited and discovered that their individual experiences had given them each new outlooks and perspective, making them even more compatible than they were the first time around.     I'm so happy that we could be there to capture the beginning of this new chapter in their lives.

After spending an afternoon with Lyndell and Bill for their engagement session in Coronado a couple months ago, I could have guessed that their wedding would be tasteful, yet a whole lot of fun, just like they are. They did not disappoint!

Lyndell is all class as she prepared for the day with her friends and family in her Rancho Bernardo Inn suite.

Lyndell and Bill were then married at the University of San Diego's beautiful and dramatic Founder's Chapel.

Back at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, Bill and Lyndell celebrate with their friends and families.

Lyndell arranged to have the centerpieces donated to local hospitals and homes so that others could continue to enjoy them after the reception.

Thank you Lyndell and Bill for asking us to photograph your beautiful ceremony and reception.  You two are so great together - we were honored to be able to be part of this celebration and we had a great time with your family and friends.  We're sure your marriage will be filled with as much fun and laughter as we witnessed on your wedding day!

Be sure to check out Dad's blog for more photos of Lyndell and Bill's beautiful day!

Congratulations Jasmin! College Senior Photos in San Diego

Dick and I don't have kids, but we of course have friends who do. One in particular is our friend Lillian. We've known her girls for the last 12 years and have seen them grow from goofy kids to smart, funny, beautiful young women… and I know I show my age when I say this, but how did they grow up so fast!?

Jasmin, the older of the two sisters, is graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University!  We are so proud of her.  And of course when she asked me to take some photos of her for her graduation announcements, I was super excited to do so.

We started off at Presidio Park and then headed down the hill to Old Town. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do. She's such a cutie! :-)

And I know, it's my ego, but I have to admit I LOVE receiving cards in the mail that use photos I've taken.  Lillian did a really nice job putting together the announcements.

Congratulations Jasmin.  I look forward to seeing where life takes you. "Oh the places you will go…"
