Kim and Colin: cheerful and elegant country club wedding

Kimberly and Colin met in college, surrounded by a group of friends who shared their faith and other common interests.  What started as friendship grew, and four years later here they are, celebrating the beginning of what is sure to be a long and happy life together.  These two, and their families and friends, are some of the most warmest and friendliest people I've had the pleasure to work with.  Beautiful people, inside and out, we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph this beautiful event.

The ceremony and reception were held at one of our favorite venues, the Carmel Mountain Ranch Golf Club.  All of the many thoughtful details were flawlessly executed by the talented, and so very organized on-site coordinator, Nicole.

I just loved the delicate, hand made garters

I'll update florist info as soon as I get it… but they're really beautiful, aren't they? :-)

Look at all of those gorgeous ladies!!

…and speaking of gorgeous...

I snuck a few shots behind the scenes while Dad photographed Kim and Colin at the venue's dramatic waterfall setting.

What a good looking Mr. and Mrs. they make!

Flowers and photos adorned the entryway to the club house.

Light poured in through the walls of windows, showing off the cheerful and elegant decor.

Love.

Kim and Colin had selected an assortment of delicious "mock-tails" for their guests.

Kim and Colin - from the moment we arrived onsite you were so amazing to work with.  Kim - your smile and laughter just light up the room, which is so much fun for a photographer!  :-)  Thank you again for asking us to help you capture such a beautiful day!

'Happy Everything!' family photos in Poway

I photographed Alex, Jeremy and little Zoe for the first time back in 2011 and was so excited to, once again, capture the giggles and smiles of this beautiful family.  We started off at the house - where we captured some fun photos in a comfortable setting.

Zoe was kind enough to include me in her lovely tea party.

We had a really nice visit and catch-up while we enjoyed a delicious lunch that Alex prepared for us.  Then we trekked over to Old Poway Park for some more photos.  Wow - was this place packed full of families and photographers!  And on a Monday!  But I digress...  As you'll see, the setting is beautiful, so it's really no big surprise we weren't the only ones there.

Is it really possible to get more attractive with age?  Beautiful you two!

… and still in love

And then a few more against the painted walls across the street from the park.  Just 'adorbs' as the kids say.
