Elegant. Classic. Tasteful. Thoughtful. Warm.
These are the words that immediately came to mind when I was thinking about what to write about McKinsey and Danny's beautiful celebration at Twin Oaks Garden Estate in San Marcos, CA. The thing is, while the words came easy, I couldn't decide whether they better described this gorgeous wedding day, or the bride herself. The fact is, and as I hope these photos will adequately capture, they really do describe both.
I suppose that it shouldn't be surprising that McKinsey and Danny's day was such a perfect blend of thoughtful details and classic beauty as McKinsey herself is a blend of those same traits, being a nurse with former ballet training. In planning this wedding, she also showed a great sense of design and taste and was able to put them to use by selecting the perfect venue, flowers, and dress that would work together so beautifully.
Then to see the two of them together: the playful, impromptu dances, the quick glances and smiles - it was clear that they have such a loving connection. They're not bad looking either. ;-) These two made our job, as their wedding photographers, an easy one! Please enjoy...

As I mentioned, McKinsey's selection of dress, shoes, colors - all worked perfectly with this venue. It was as if this old school house and garden were designed and built just for this wedding.
McKinsey's bridesmaids were gorgeous - love those dresses.
I mentioned the flowers earlier. Check out McKinsey's dad's boutonniere and the bridesmaids' bouquets. Not only were the colors lovely, but the combinations of flowers were so simple, yet creative.

This was mixed faith wedding, so we were able to see a few traditional Jewish traditions throughout the day. I love a good Hora! :-)
