Ashley and Stephen - married at the Bernardo Winery

Both of them grew up in China, but they didn't meet until three days after Ashley arrived in the states, when she was just starting at Purdue University.  He helped her move in, and they almost immediately started seeing each other.  But this new love was very quickly put to the test when only months later Stephen was offered a job on the west coast and their brand new relationship turned into a long distance one.

Many long phone calls and short visits later, Ashley was finally able to join Stephen in San Diego and the two were married.  When it came time for both of their parents to visit, they decided to have a wedding celebration with their families, who had never even met their new spouses!  We were so excited to be there for this exciting and beautiful time with all of them.

We absolutely love photographing Ashley and Stephen!  We could hardly wait for this wedding after having such a great time with them on their engagement shoot earlier this year.  These two are playful yet genuinely affectionate with each other, not to mention the fact that they look great!  We couldn't have asked more.

After Ashley and Stephen got ready at home, we made our way to the beautiful and historic Bernardo Winery for their wedding and reception.

After we took some photos of Ashley and Stephen with their friends and family, Ashley made a quick change for the reception.  Gorgeous!!
