a clean cat
Mugen complains as he waits for someone to turn on the water.
He'll find a way in, whether the door is opened or not
Shaking himself dry
This is a cat, right?

Ladies Nite!
Last Saturday we celebrated my aunt Joanie's birthday with a San Diego downtown ladies night. Joanie, my cousin Amy, my mom and I all had a delicious dinner, drinks, and stayed at the Marriott downtown (thank you Marriott rewards). We had a fantastic time!
Here's Joanie and Mom

Mom - relaxed and happy
Have I mentioned that I love downtown San Diego?

gama-go contest
Those of you who know me well know that I'm a big gama-go fan. I entered a few images in a contest where I was supposed to incorporate gama-go characters into touristy photographs. My images didn't win, but I still like them - perhaps because the photos themselves bring back such happy memories.

Russian Food and Red Fox
Russian Food
Last night Dick and I enjoyed dinner at Pomegranate Russian Georgian Restaurant in Northpark with friends Alexe, Jeremy (her man), Tyrone, and John. The ambiance was extremely unique and the food was delicious.
Russian salad is not the same as American salad
Turkish coffee - strong and tasty!
Red Fox
Afterwards we headed across the street to the Red Fox Room. It was pretty dark in there - as a result several of the photos I took turned out better in black & white.

Just another Monday
Dede's birthday dinner
Monday night we celebrated Dede's birthday at Pearl Restaurant. The food was great and the company (Dede, Pampa, Jerry, Dick, Mom & Dad) was even better.
At Jerry's house last week, we sat on his Tempurpedic bed and decided we had to have one. He came by after Dede's dinner Monday to help us assemble the bed frame.
