Earth Hour 2008

Earth hour is a campaign that encouraged businesses, communities and individuals to make a statement by simultaneously turning off the lights for an hour last Saturday. So we sat out in the back yard drinking wine by candlelight, with our dinner guests, Mike and Christina.
You might also notice some strange characters in the image below. This was due to the fact that earlier that day I had done some gardening and had brought them to the table to get them out of the way. It made for a somewhat surreal photo.
