It's so great to photograph a couple when there is already a comfortable and natural connection between them. Monica and Erik have been together for more than ten years, and after all this time they finally decided to celebrate with their family and friends with a beautiful San Diego summer wedding. Thanks to Erik's dad's Navy career, they were able to hold their ceremony and reception at The Oceanview, which is located on the Point Loma Navy base in San Diego and one of the most beautiful ocean front venues in the city.
But first, Monica, along with her sister and mother, had their hair done at the beautifully modern Evian Salon and Day Spa in La Jolla.

Then the the group convened at the venue.
A visitor joined the ladies right outside their room.
Monica and Erik decided to capture his 'first look' at Monica in her dress right before the ceremony.
