When Jenelle and Cory asked us to take their engagement photos up in Julian, we were super excited to do it - for years friends have told me about how much fun it is to drive up this time of year for Apple Days but I've never been. After a beautiful morning drive up the hill, we met Cory and Jenelle at their family's cabin and it was an easy drive to the winery and trail head where we took their photos. After that, friends who were also staying at the cabin made all of us a delicious brunch before we headed back home. Overall, it was an excellent way to spend a Sunday morning. Oh, and we got some really fun photos of Jenelle and Cory too!
And what a treat to be able to do an engagement shoot with Dick! (usually we do these solo) So just for fun, here are a couple behind-the-scenes shots that he captured that morning.
